I love the taste of energy drinks, but I rarely drink them because of the stimulants. Often they’re even counterproductive: in the evening, while chilling, or when I’ve already had one earlier that day.

For more than 10 years, I’ve wished for a real alternative without stimulants (especially caffeine) that still delivers that same typical flavor.

In February 2025, during a late-night car ride, when I was craving that flavor again but it was too late for caffeine, I thought for the first time: “If no one else makes it, then I’ll make it myself!”

After some research, I finally dared to mix my own prototype to test whether the idea even worked. When I found myself enjoying that prototype every evening, it quickly became clear: this drink needs to exist and I want to bring it to the market.

I found a professional beverage developer, and together we started from scratch. We tested and mixed dozens of flavors, adjusted sweetness, acidity, intensity, texture, carbonation, and much more until we nailed the perfect taste.

With a few friends (who I didn’t need to convince for long), I took on the next challenges: design, sales, marketing, website, and production.

In November, the big moment finally arrived: the first 0gram cans rolled off the line! Today, I’m incredibly happy to have turned 0gram into reality. Now I can enjoy that classic energy-drink flavor anytime, without any limitations. I’ll still use regular energy drinks when I want a real boost. But for the flavor, I now have 0gram!

Basically, I invented 0gram for myself. But since I’m not selfish, I’m selling a few cans as well ;)
